Golf is a great way to blow off steam in the open air. It doesn't require a set number of players or a referee – just a course, a ball and a set of clubs!

Cleckheaton locations

There are several places to play golf in the Cleckheaton area, but my favourite course is at the club nearest my house. It's close to home, not too crowded and well looked after. I've got to know the regulars there pretty well by now, and several of us meet every Friday in the summer for an after-work round of 18 holes. In winter, when it gets dark earlier, it's easier to play on Saturday afternoons.
